When to use an Executive Summary report
Over the next few weeks we’ll be taking a look at your reporting tools, one by one, so you can make the best use of your options. First up, the all-star of report types…
The Executive Summary
Executive Summary reports give you an easy, all-around view of how your polling session went. It shows thumbnails of each poll chart, overall engagement, and poll-by-poll engagement levels. It’s the one you’d want to show off to your team after the conference is over, to let them know how the audience interacted with the material overall.
Use Executive Summary when you want to
- Compare engagement highs and lows across a session, or across an entire event
- Get a quick-glance overview of the crowd’s response to each poll
- Offer a brief retrospective on the success of your event
For example, let’s say you just finished your annual sales conference, and you want to give a 2-minute overview at this week’s all-hands meeting. All you’d have to do is select the polls from that day in My Polls, click Report, and choose Executive Summary, to instantly show voting results, overall engagement (look at that beautiful circle graph!), and participation rates for each question, like this:
Now everyone can easily get a read on the size of the event, how many people joined in, and what they thought about each question.
P.S. If you happen to be one of those people who like bright, colorful polls, your Executive Summary ends up looking fairly awesome, also.
