You’ll Never Beat It, So Use It
Students can’t live without their cell phones, and I don’t think generations before them quite get it. There is a huge chasm between generations, but schools can be the planks to bridge that divide.

What is especially spectacular about this principal’s epiphany is that he tests his new-found-vision by using Poll Everywhere.

“A Principal’s Reflections” blog post
This is a must read for all teachers that want to incorporate Poll Everywhere in their classroom. This principal reflects on how he transcends his fear of classroom phone use by understanding that schools need to teach and lead in all aspects of a student’s life. Cellphones are so integrated in all that students do that they shouldn’t have to stop their use when they walk in the school building.
