Hey Poll People!

I cannot even begin to tell you how Poll Everywhere has made my life soooo much easier. Your fun website and sound technology drew me in initially…but, the product and ease of use has turned me into a life-long customer.

I read the blog articles about how people are using Poll Everywhere and thought I’d pass along what you’ve been able to do for me!

Several years ago, I got this hairbrained idea to change the way SongWriters bring their music to the industry and to audiences in Nashville, TN. Traditionally, SongWriters hit the stage with guitar in hand and sand three to four songs…sometimes brilliant, most…well…not-so-much. It turns into hours of sifting through ‘blah, blah, blah’ to hear a few ‘wows’. I thought, “What if the writer could sing 30 seconds of their original song and then let the audience vote somehow on the strength of the song?” Gong show meets American Idol – done Nashville style.

After stumbling on Poll Everywhere, the idea took off and I designed the whole event around it – and The Flush was born. I pitched the idea to the powers-that-be and it’s become a huge success! With the huge weekly audiences it draws in and the way it’s taken off…my account more than pays for itself! It’s literally changing the way the SongWriting industry works – and very much for the better!

Audience members can text in their votes during the show and see the results in real time on a big screen (thanks to the ability to embed the polls in power point…how cool is that feature?!?).

Anyhow, I’m long-winded. Just wanted to say thanks for making it possible for me to get to do The Flush. People always comment on the sharp technology and you’ve made it easy for me to get to look soooo incredible smart…haha. It’s been incredible to get to see this thing go from an idea to a hugely successful reality and I owe it to Poll Everywhere!
