Good News for Users in the UK–a truly local number

We were recently notified that our primary UK number that we thought was local was actually an Isle of Man number. This was unfortunate as some cell carriers in the UK were charging participants international texting rates instead of local ones!

We’re still operating our Isle of Man number for participants in Europe and other countries. However, we now have an additional UK local number, 02033225822. This is a London based number that should be considered a local text message by cell carriers. But as always, check with your carrier to determine exact rates.

You can change your coverage are from your Account Profile, under the International Text Messaging menu.
